Friday!

So I didn't have to work today. YAY!
I don't know why they don't just call it Veterans Day, but they don't. Same with Columbus Day , and MLK Day. We get them off, the kids get them off, but the Teachers have what they call an "inservice day", so they work sorta. We get a "student holiday" . It's dumb, call it what it is.

So since I didn't have to work today, and my Kiddo spent the night with another new friend ( nice girl). I figured I would watch Survivor then hang out in a chat room or on IM and visit some cyber buddies and maybe drink some beer. Stay up late, drinking, that was the plan.

I hate darktime. Since the clocks turned back I am sleepy at darktime.
So like , it's dark at six now, so I can barely keep my eyes open past 7:30. I had one beer, and then went right to bed as soon as Survivor was over.
The early dark spoiled my party plans.

Got frozen dinners, got ice cream, got popcorn, rented movies!
It's Friday Family Fun night at the Bug house.
Hopefully I don't fall asleep at 6.

Today's Cup of Tea- ( For Bob)

Today's tea was Celestial Seasonings - Teahouse Chai - Chocolate Caramel Enchantment.
Yummy, I recommend it. It has caffiene.

First after the spammers! Jeez, these guys are idiots.

We don't even get Remembrance Day (that's what we Canuckians call it) off here in Quebec. Instead, we have to drag our butts to work. Poor us.

Anyway, I hope you had a restful day. Can I have some ice cream?

Oh, and did you say chocolate caramel tea? Weird.

Zombie?!!
How did you know the child's new friend was a ginger kid?
She is!

Sweet kid, gets teased at school terribly, she is very tall, very ginger, wears glasses and braces. Everything they tease about she has. She and the Kate get along great.

( I thought of you Zombs, during that episode! LOL! )

Coco! That tea is delicious! Find some!

Oh Buggy, I love Celestial Seasonings Teahouse Chai - the regular one - I've never had the chocolate carmel variation. With milk and suger this tea tastes exactly like the tea that is served everywhere in India. It smells just right too, makes me so nostalgic. Now I have to go boil some water and make a cup!

Swami,
I love it with milk and without.
I haven't tried the regular one yet, I will.
The Choc/Caramel one is spicey, has a cinnimin undertone, slightly sweet, nice.
I drink a cup of tea almost everyday.

Like Coco, we don't get Remembrance Day off either. It really should be a holiday. I was impressed to hear that at Dave's new job, they observed two minutes of silence at 11am. I did my own moment of silence at work while everyone else just kept right on babbling.

I'm with you on the darktime. I go to work in the dark and most nights this past week I came home in the dark. So depressing. I don't know how my friend in Alaska does it. Three or four hours of daylight just wouldn't cut it for me.

Friday night I was wiped. By 8pm I was sleeping in front of the tv. I miss being a night owl.

*hugs for the Bug family*
